Nature Conservancy of Canada Collaborations
For many years, Little Symphony has been proud to support and collaborate creatively with Nature Conservancy of Canada through a variety of audio and musical projects with NCC chapters across the country. Our work together is rooted in a shared appreciation for Canada’s natural landscapes and the importance of protecting them for future generations. From grasslands and forests to coastlines and wetlands, we are continually inspired by the places NCC works tirelessly to conserve, often incorporating real field recordings from these remarkable ecosystems into our music. Through these collaborations, we hope to deepen people’s connection to nature through sound and storytelling.
Wetlands for Wellness Playlist
In partnership with Ducks Unlimited Canada, we curated a special playlist for World Wetlands Day featuring the sounds of wetlands across Canada, from gentle marsh waters to the songs of native birds and wildlife. 80% of the playlist’s revenue was donated to Ducks Unlimited Canada in support of habitat conservation and restoration efforts. This collaboration celebrated the beauty of these vital ecosystems while helping raise awareness for the important conservation work DUC continues to lead and protect.

Invictus Games 2025 Immersive Nature Booth
Little Symphony was proud to collaborate with Destination BC by contributing immersive audio and authentic nature sound recordings captured from locations across British Columbia. Our recordings helped bring Destination BC’s experiential nature booth to life at the hub for Invictus Games 2025, the Vancouver Convention Centre, creating a calming and sensory-rich experience for visitors from around the world.
LSIB & Tree Canada Forest Rehabilitation Recording
In partnership with the Lower Similkameen Indian Band & Tree Canada, Little Symphony is helping document what reforestation sounds like. In 2023, the devastating 44,000-hectare Crater Mountain wildfire burned through the Ashnola region. Alongside the impressive efforts of the community and contractors to plant trees and reforest the area, Little Symphony has been gathering field recordings of the reforested area at the 1, 2, 3 and 5 year mark after the wildfire. Two albums featuring recordings from the reforestation area have been released in collaboration with LSIB so far, with a share of streaming royalties going to the LSIB community. You can listen to the two albums released to date: nʔaysnu̓laʔxʷ (Ashnola) and nʔaysnu̓laʔxʷ nxʷəlxʷəlta̓ntət (Ashnola Gives Us Life).
